Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who can generate sponsorshi revenue for our conferences and events. The candidate should have prior experience in identifyin sponsors, generating leads, pitching sponsorship opportunities, and closing deals for conferences summits, or events.

Key Responsibilities-

  • Identify and approach potential sponsors for conferences, summits, and events.
  • Generate sponsorship leads through market research, networking, cold outreach, and industry connections.
  • Pitch sponsorship packages and customize offerings based on client needs.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close sponsorship deals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with sponsors and partners.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sponsorship revenue targets.
  • Maintain CRM data of leads, opportunities, and closures.
  • Coordinate with marketing and event teams to align sponsorship deliverables.
  • Attend industry events and conferences for networking and lead generation.

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong in Sponsorship Revenue Generation & End-to-End Sales Execution
  • Total Experience (Mandatory): Total 5+ years of experience in sales and 2+ years of experience in Sponsorship Sales / Conference Sales / Event Sales, preferably in events, media, or conference-driven organizations
  • Mandatory (Experience 1) : Must have hands-on experience in managing the complete sponsorship sales lifecycle, including lead generation, pitching sponsorship packages, negotiation, and deal closure
  • Mandatory (Experience 2) : Proven track record of generating sponsorship revenue and consistently achieving monthly/quarterly sales targets, preferably in conferences, summits, or events
  • Mandatory (Experience 3) : Strong experience in consultative / solution-based selling, with the ability to understand brand objectives and pitch customized sponsorship packages (branding, booths, speaking slots, partnerships, etc)
  • Mandatory (Experience 4) : Experience in engaging with marketing heads, brand managers, partnerships teams, CXOs, and senior stakeholders, including negotiation and long-term relationship management
  • Mandatory (Experience 5) : Prior experience in conference/event industry, media companies, or event sponsorship sales is highly preferred
  • Mandatory (Tools & CRM): Hands-on experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM) for managing leads, pipeline tracking, and reporting
