Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in waste management and recycling.
- Generate new leads through market research, networking, industrial visits, and references.
- Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, recyclers, traders, waste generators, government bodies, and industrial clients.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
- Explore new markets and business segments for recycled products and waste material trading.
- Acquire new customers for recyclable materials such as plastic scrap, paper waste, metal scrap, glass, e-waste, rubber, textile waste, construction waste, biomass, and other industrial waste.
- Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and commercial discussions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, and contracts.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and long-term agreements.
- Ensure timely closure of sales opportunities.
- Develop a network of waste suppliers, scrap dealers, recyclers, collection agencies, aggregators, and industrial waste generators.
- Identify new business opportunities in sustainability and circular economy initiatives.
- Conduct market surveys and customer need assessments.
- Manage relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups.
- Address customer concerns and provide timely resolutions.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- MBA (Marketing/Business Management) preferred.
- Prior experience in Waste Management, Recycling, Circular Economy, Environmental Services, Industrial Waste, Scrap Trading, Plastic Recycling, Metal Recycling, Paper Recycling, E-Waste is highly Mandatory.
