Role Description

We are seeking a Business Development Manager – IT Solution to join our team on-site in Thane in a full-time capacity. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and collaborating with teams to develop tailored IT solutions. The candidate will also be responsible for analyzing business processes, preparing proposals, and driving revenue growth through effective project management and customer engagement.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Strategic Business Development

  • Define and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategy for the manufacturing segment
  • Identify and target high-value enterprise accounts using account-based selling
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with a focus on large deals


🔹 Consultative Sales Leadership

  • Lead discovery workshops with senior stakeholders (Plant Heads, CIOs, HR Leaders)
  • Analyze business challenges and co-create tailored digital solutions
  • Position offerings across:
  • HR & Admin Automation
  • Track & Trace Systems
  • ERP/SAP Integration
  • Custom Software Development


🔹 Deal Ownership & Closures

  • Manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle: Lead → Qualification → Proposal → Negotiation → Closure
  • Develop ROI-driven proposals and business cases
  • Drive commercial negotiations and contract finalization


🔹 Client Relationship Management

  • Build trusted relationships with CXOs and key decision-makers
  • Drive account growth through land-and-expand strategies
  • Ensure customer success, retention, and long-term value realization


🔹 Partnerships & Ecosystem Development

  • Build strategic alliances with:
  • SAP consultants
  • System integrators
  • Industrial technology partners
  • Leverage partnerships to enhance solution capabilities and market reach


🔹 Team Leadership (Optional)

  • Mentor and guide Business Development Executives (BDEs)
  • Foster a consultative, solution-oriented sales culture

🎓 Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Business (MBA preferred)
  • 6–12 years of experience in B2B/Enterprise sales (IT solutions, ERP, SaaS, Industrial Tech)
  • Strong exposure to manufacturing industry ecosystems
  • Proven success in enterprise deal closures and stakeholder management
