Job Title: Lead Manager - Solution Architect (Manufacturing, Warehousing, Transportation & Kinaxis)

Scope: Global

Location: Pune Ice Cream Office

Role Purpose

The Lead Solution Architect for SAP S/4HANA, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Transportation & Kinaxis is responsible for designing, governing, and assuring end‑to‑end solution architecture across the core supply chain execution and planning landscape.

This role positions SAP S/4HANA as the digital core, integrating Manufacturing, EWM/WMS, Transportation Management (SAP TM / OTM / LETRA), 3PL ecosystems, and Kinaxis RapidResponse for planning and analytics.

The role ensures solutions are scalable, integrated, compliant with enterprise standards, and aligned with programme architecture for Magnum/Opus transformations.

Key Responsibilities

SAP S/4HANA Core Architecture

• Own solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA across relevant functional domains:
• Manufacturing (PP, QM, PM/EAM)
• Logistics execution integration (EWM, TM/OTM)
• Finance touchpoints and controlling impacts for supply chain processes
• Define end‑to‑end S/4HANA architecture patterns covering:
• Master data harmonization (Material, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Customers, Vendors)
• Transactional flows across Plan–Make–Deliver
• Ensure clean‑core principles, extensibility strategy, and alignment with SAP roadmap and enterprise architecture standards.
• Govern S/4HANA integration with Kinaxis, Data Lake, MES, 3PL, Solvoyo, PPDS, and satellite systems.
  

Manufacturing Architecture

• Lead architecture for end-to-end manufacturing processes including process order management, batch management, in‑process quality, post‑production inspection, and local system integrations.
• Define solution design across Maintenance (EAM), Safety/Environment/Hygiene (SHE), and associated data flows with Data Lake, OH platforms, and quality systems.
• Ensure harmonisation of master data (materials, BOMs, routings, work centres) and support transformation & harmonization activities.

Warehousing Architecture (EWM / WM / 3PL Integration)

• Architect end‑to‑end warehouse execution including receiving, storage, picking, staging, shipping, and dispatch operations.
• Ensure alignment of SAP warehouse master data (shipping points, transport zones, staging areas, stock types, layout mappings) with operational and 3PL processes.
• Support warehouse readiness: stock build planning, capacity assessment, layout conformity, and cutover readiness
• Oversee EWM/WMS–3PL integrations covering inventory updates, movement confirmations, inbound/outbound flows, and physical inventory alignment.
  
  

Transportation Architecture (TM / LE‑TRA / OTM)

• Lead architecture for transport planning and execution including tendering, loads, dock scheduling, freight settlement, track & trace, and customs processes.
• Validate SAP TM/OTM integration with warehousing, order‑to‑cash, and 3PL providers.
• Ensure seamless physical and data flows across carriers, brokers, freight forwarders, and customs partners
  
  

Kinaxis Solution Architecture

• Lead the Kinaxis Rapid Response solution design including supply, demand, inventory planning, and scenario planning.
• Oversee Kinaxis integration mapping and architecture for all flows to/from SAP S/4HANA, Data Lake, Solvoyo, 3PL, PPDS, and other planning systems.
• Govern Kinaxis data migration: templates, transformations, source data mapping, DL integration, and KPI definition alignment
• Mitigate risks related to Kinaxis environment readiness, PS availability, and integration dependencies.
  
  

Cross‑Functional Supply Chain Architecture

• Ensure end‑to‑end alignment across Plan, Make, Deliver, warehouse operations, and transportation planning, leveraging architectural standards and roadmap principles.
• Support E2E process design workshops and playbacks, resolve design gaps, and validate cross‑domain dependencies.
• Drive standardisation across warehouse and logistics processes to ensure global template consistency.
  
  

Governance & Delivery Leadership

• Lead architectural reviews, design authority forums, and integration alignment sessions.
• Provide guidance to functional, technical, integration, and data teams across ERP, planning, and logistics domains.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles, security, data models, and integration standards.
• Represent architecture in SIT, UAT, cutover, hypercare, and operational readiness cycles.
  
  

Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• Deep understanding of SAP Manufacturing, Quality, Plant Maintenance, and related execution processes.
• Expertise in SAP EWM/WM, LE‑TRA, OTM, and 3PL logistics operations including warehouse execution & transport flows.
• Strong knowledge of Kinaxis RapidResponse, integration mapping, data models, and DL‑Kinaxis transformations.
• Experience leading integration across SAP S/4HANA, Data Lake, Solvoyo, PPDS, and other SC systems
  
  

Leadership & Delivery

• Proven ability to run cross‑domain solution design workshops and resolve complex supply chain architecture issues.
• Experience with multi‑vendor delivery (Accenture, KXS, 3PL partners).
• Strong skills in stakeholder alignment across business, supply chain, operations, IT, and third parties.
  
  

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or related field.
• SAP certifications (EWM, TM, Manufacturing, S/4HANA) highly desirable.
• Kinaxis RapidResponse certification or proven project experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of modern supply chain planning and execution platforms.
