About Solar Capital
Solar Capital is building a digital platform that enables individuals to participate in clean energy without installing solar panels on their own roofs. We partner with commercial buildings and property owners to deploy rooftop solar projects under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) model, and connect those projects to our platform users.
We are currently expanding our on-ground team and looking for a motivated field salesperson who can onboard property owners and help grow our solar project network.
Role Overview
The Business Development Executive – Host Partnerships will be responsible for identifying and onboarding commercial property owners (hosts) such as hotels, warehouses, factories, schools, hospitals, and commercial buildings willing to adopt rooftop solar under a no-upfront-cost model.
This is a field sales role focused on relationship building and site acquisition — not inside sales or tele-calling.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential buildings with high electricity consumption
- Visit commercial properties and meet owners/facility managers
- Pitch Solar Capital’s PPA (no upfront investment solar) offering
- Collect electricity bills and property details for feasibility analysis
- Coordinate site surveys with technical team
- Negotiate and assist in closure of rooftop agreements and PPA signing
- Maintain daily visit and lead tracking reports
- Build long-term relationships with property owners and local brokers
Who Should Apply

- B2B field sales
- Real estate brokerage / property consulting
- Telecom leased line / internet sales
- Facility management or equipment leasing sales
- Solar EPC or energy solutions sales
We are looking for someone who is comfortable meeting decision-makers (owners, not customers) and can work independently in the field.
Skills Required
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Confidence in face-to-face meetings
- Ability to explain savings/business benefits clearly
- Basic understanding of commercial negotiations
- Self-driven and target oriented
- Willingness to travel locally within the city
Compensation
Fixed Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience)
Performance Incentives: Per kW rooftop acquired and converted to signed project (high earning potential)
Top performers can significantly increase earnings based on closed projects.
