Position Overview:
As a Business Development Specialist at iKure, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities, expanding our presence, and forging strategic partnerships in the healthcare sector. You will be responsible for analyzing market trends, generating leads, conducting market research, communicating with customers, and delivering excellent customer service. Additionally, you will explore and assess international market opportunities in the Medtech and Public Healthcare domains, aiming to establish partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, Medtech firms, hospitals, medical universities, and other relevant entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats in the healthcare sector, both locally and internationally.
- Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate qualified leads, including but not limited to cold calling, networking, and digital marketing efforts.
- Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- International Market Expansion: Identify and assess international markets for iKure's Medtech solutions and public healthcare initiatives, working closely with the leadership team to formulate market entry strategies.
- Partnership Development: Explore collaboration opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, Medtech firms, hospitals, medical universities, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance iKure's reach and impact.
- Business Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Client Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing iKure's capabilities and value proposition.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, providing valuable insights to the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the healthcare or Medtech industry.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including knowledge of public healthcare systems and Medtech solutions.
- Proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player.
