Job Description
Objective of the Role
The Brand Manager will be responsible for driving brand strategy, strengthening brand equity, and delivering effective marketing initiatives across multiple channels. This role involves translating consumer insights into actionable strategies, leading integrated campaigns, and managing agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Analyse brand positioning, category dynamics, and consumer insights to develop strong brand strategies.
- Define and refine brand architecture, positioning, and category strategy.
- Translate brand elements into actionable plans and comprehensive go-to-market strategies.
- Align internal teams and stakeholders around brand direction, choices, and long-term strategy.
Marketing Planning & Campaign Management
- Create, execute, and manage 360° marketing campaigns and brand activations (TVC, DVC, digital, OOH, print, influencer, etc.).
- Lead creative development and collaborate with agencies to craft compelling narratives that motivate consumers to “take action”.
- Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising initiatives to ensure consistent brand communication.
Performance Measurement & Budget Management
- Measure, analyse, and report on campaign performance, ROI, and key KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Establish, manage, and optimise brand budgets while ensuring efficient utilisation of resources.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer research to identify opportunities for growth.
- Manage media planning including ATL, Brand assets, Digital, brand ambassador & influencers
Agency & Stakeholder Management
- Manage multiple agencies across mainline, media (TV, OOH, print), digital, performance marketing, PR, and content.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product, digital, creative, and category management.
Digital, AI & E Commerce
- Leverage AI tools, social media platforms, and digital dashboards for insights, content generation, and monitoring.
- Devise innovative growth strategies leveraging emerging digital tools and consumer behaviour shifts.
Competencies / Skills
Technical:
- Proven expertise in integrated marketing campaigns, brand strategy, and media planning.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting consumer insights and campaign performance.
- Excellent communication, creative thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with AI-driven marketing tools, social media tools, and e‑commerce dashboards.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple agencies effectively
Qualification
Master’s in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields.
Experience
5–8 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or category roles in FMCG/FMCD industry.
