Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based at Hotel Centre Point in Nagpur. The Banquet Sales Manager is responsible for generating and managing banquet and catering sales, including responding to inquiries, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing bookings for social, corporate, and wedding events. The role involves conducting client meetings and site inspections, coordinating event requirements with the operations and culinary teams, and ensuring seamless execution from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up. The Banquet Sales Manager will maintain accurate records, forecasts, and reports, monitor market trends and competitor activities, and contribute to sales strategies and promotional campaigns. The role also requires building long-term client relationships, achieving revenue targets, and upholding Centre Point Hospitality’s service standards and brand reputation.
Qualifications
  • Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships and provide personalized support.
  • Proven experience in Sales and Sales Management, preferably in hotels, hospitality, or events.
  • Expertise in Catering Sales, with a track record of converting leads into confirmed events and maximizing revenue.
  • Solid Event Planning capabilities, including coordinating banquet details, timelines, and logistics.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by events.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and hotel sales or CRM systems.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred, along with prior experience in banquet or hotel sales.
