Our Analytics organization comprises of data analysts who focus on enabling strategies to enhance customer and partner experience and optimize business performance through data management and development of full stack descriptive to prescriptive analytics solutions using cutting edge technologies thereby enabling business growth

Role Summary/Purpose

The AVP, Health & Wellness Digital Analytics role is responsible for analytical support for product and digital experience initiatives, which includes leading business KPI design and measurement, providing insights and recommendations, and creating test and learn strategies to measure digital channel investment returns. This role will lead the analytical support for the Health & Wellness Marketing team and will also partner with other cross-functional stakeholders supporting digital capabilities ideation, design, testing, launch, upgrades, and on-going maintenance. This role will work closely with Health & Wellness Marketing teams on B2B, B2B2C, and B2C digital marketing programs and campaigns, analyzing product and marketing impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead digital experience analytics efforts for Health & Wellness platform
  • Create extensive analysis of performance trends, provide insightful business performance reporting, and make recommendations
  • Provide actionable insights into effectiveness of impact of Health & Wellness platform digital product enhancements and campaign performance.
  • Lead and drive business KPI design and measurements, improve accuracy and recommend investment optimization opportunities
  • Establish a continuous test & learn culture through ongoing assessment and communication of results
  • Drive open-ending analyses to gather insights to help reduce digital experience user friction & improve digital product experience.
  • Lead multi-product and cross channel analyses to understand the effectiveness of new and existing product vs. digital marketing impact, propose investment optimization strategies.
  • Act as a SME and business consultant, offer analytical and strategic thinking, understand business needs and requirements, be able to translate needs and requirements into data, data architecture, analytical insights and recommendations
  • Partner cross-functionally with various stakeholder in a highly matrixed organization, working closely with product, Marketing, Sales, IT, Credit, and Finance, and multiple COE’s
  • Provider guidance, support, and supervise offshore team members.
  • Utilize tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics to provide insights.
  • Utilize SAS/SQL to manipulate and analyze large datasets

Required Skills/Knowledge

  • Bachelors degree with 6+ years of experience in analytics; preferably financial services, retail, and/or ecommerce or in lieu of a degree 8+ years of experience in analytics.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with web analytics reporting tools (ie. Adobe/Google Analytics). Clicktale experience is a plus
  • Minimum 6+ years of hands-on SQL experience; demonstrated ability to apply advanced algorithms and efficiently manage complex/large datasets.
  • Strong credit card P&L knowledge with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Hands-on capability with coding, Tableau, and multiple data sources Familiarity with statistical methods and tools such as decision trees, regression, segmentation, NLP, and GPT.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and competing priorities.

Desired Skills/Knowledge

  • Experience synthesizing insights from structured analyses to inform business decisions and communicating with stakeholders in an effective manner
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on SAS programming and Python experience.
  • Solid background on supporting product marketing and digital experience analytics
  • Strong skill in project management, communications, multi-tasking, ability to work independently, and relationship management are keys to success
  • Solid understanding of financial service industry financial P&L drivers and key sensitivities with business reporting experience. Credit card experience a plus
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to digest and explain complex information to both external and internal clients
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Quick learner who can grasp the core needs of the business and rapidly develop solutions
  • Ability to foster teamwork and work well in a collaborative team and matrixed environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence and direct people outside of their reporting structure
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with remote teams in India and the US
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelors degree with 6+ years of experience in analytics; preferably financial services, retail, and/or ecommerce or in lieu of a degree 8+ years of experience in analytics.

Work Timings: 6:00 AM EST to 11:00 AM EST

This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs)
