Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Auto Loans Sales Manager role based in Mangalore, TAS. The Auto Loans Sales Manager will oversee sales activities for auto loan products, including new and pre-owned passenger cars and two-wheelers, ensuring achievement of branch and regional targets. The role involves managing and guiding a sales team, driving leads through dealer relationships, coordinating with marketing associates, and maintaining strong ties with automobile manufacturers and dealerships. The manager will analyze market trends, optimize sales processes, monitor portfolio quality, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include pipeline management, customer relationship building, negotiation of loan terms within defined parameters, and collaboration with credit, operations, and collections teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in auto loans, vehicle finance, or retail lending sales, with a strong understanding of car and two-wheeler finance products.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with automobile dealers, manufacturers, and local business partners to drive sustainable business growth.
  • Strong sales planning, target management, and pipeline tracking skills, with a focus on achieving and surpassing performance goals.
  • Effective team leadership capabilities, including mentoring sales staff, setting clear objectives, and fostering a collaborative, results-oriented environment.
  • Sound analytical and numerical skills for assessing credit profiles, evaluating financial documents, and monitoring portfolio performance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage customers, dealers, and internal stakeholders professionally.
  • Working knowledge of loan documentation, underwriting processes, and regulatory and compliance requirements in retail lending.
  • Proficiency with basic office productivity tools and CRM or sales management systems for reporting and data tracking.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Prior on-site field sales experience and familiarity with the Mangalore market or surrounding regions is beneficial.
