Audit Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze audit data, MIS reports, and system records to identify discrepancies, trends, and control gaps
• .Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to determine the reasons behind inventory variances, SOP deviations, and operational issues
• .Prepare accurate and timely audit reports with clear observations and practical recommendations
• .Review business transactions and backend reports to identify risks, exceptions, and compliance issues
• .Monitor adherence to company policies, SOPs, and internal controls across stores and warehouse operations
• .Track audit observations and coordinate with concerned departments to ensure timely closure of action points
• .Maintain audit dashboards, MIS reports, trackers, and performance metrics for management review
• .Work closely with Operations, Finance, Warehouse, Merchandising, IT, and other stakeholders to resolve audit findings and improve processes
• .Verify the accuracy of data by reconciling reports from different systems and highlighting inconsistencies
• .Support the planning and execution of internal audits, stock audits, compliance reviews, and special assignments
• .Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls and recommend process improvements based on data analysis
• Ensure all audit documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted within defined timelines
• .Maintain confidentiality of audit information and uphold professional ethics at all times
• .Perform any other audit, compliance, or analytical responsibilities assigned by the Reporting Manager

Key Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel(Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Basic Data Analysis).
• Ability to analyze large volumes of data and identify trends and exceptions.
• Strong Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and logical thinking skills.
• Good report writing and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage follow-ups effectively.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under deadlines.

Qualification:

Graduate (Commerce preferred)3–5 years of experience in Internal Audit, Retail Audit, MIS, or Data Analytics.
