Established in 2004, ISOMES focuses on training aspiring media professionals to meet the evolving demands of the media and entertainment industry. The school offers academic programs in broadcast journalism, anchoring, television production and direction, and acting, supported by dual degree and diploma certification. Role Description The Assistant Professor at ISOMES will deliver lectures, workshops, and practical sessions in media and entertainment studies, with a focus area aligned to broadcast journalism, anchoring, production, direction, or acting. Responsibilities include designing and updating course materials, supervising student projects and internships, and guiding learners on industry-relevant skills and career pathways. The role involves conducting assessments, providing constructive feedback, supporting curriculum development, and contributing to academic quality assurance. The Assistant Professor will also participate in departmental meetings, academic events, industry collaborations, and mentoring activities to enhance student engagement. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

  • Master’s degree in Mass Communication required; NET/PHD MANDATORY
  • Relevant teaching or training experience in areas such as Mass Communication & Journalism, broadcast journalism, print journalism, Public Relations & Advertising, and communication research
  • Ability to design curricula, develop lesson plans, and use contemporary pedagogical methods, including project-based learning and practical labs.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English and the ability to engage diverse learners in classroom and studio settings.
  • Familiarity with current media technologies, digital platforms commonly used in newsrooms, studios, and media software like Quark Express, Adobe Software, Canva and Ai Tools etc.
  • Capacity to mentor students, supervise projects & dissertations, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and industry partners
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical, inclusive, and learner-centred education, and openness to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to handle college events, students activities, internships & placements
