R&D unit in KTI is responsible for developing digital services at KONE. It’s the development engine for our Digital Services such as KONE 24/7 Connected Services, Office Flow and Partnership Ecosystem. Job Description

We are seeking for a Senior C++ Developer with strong expertise in modern C++, API development/integration with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) to join our product engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience building high-performance cross-platform applications, developing backend SDKs, exposing protocols as APIs, and integrating native C++ components with KMP, Android, and Flutter-based UI layers.

Project Scope:

This role focuses on Service tools development, including building the backend SDK, exposing target protocols through APIs, and integrating them with UI frameworks such as Kotlin Multiplatform and Flutter etc.,

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C++ applications and backend SDKs
• Develop and expose APIs for protocol-based services
• Integrate native C++ components with Kotlin Multiplatform, Android, and Flutter UI layers
• Analyze requirements and design scalable, maintainable software solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across SDK, API, application, and platform layers
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and responsiveness
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, UI/UX, QA, and cross-functional teams
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Support CI/CD pipelines, development tools, and version control practices
• Explore the use of Generative AI tools to improve development efficiency
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong experience in C++ development
• Experience in API design, development, and integration
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
• Experience integrating native C/C++ with Android applications
• Knowledge of cross-platform development and UI integration frameworks such as Kotlin, Flutter
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and software design skills
