We are seeking an Associate to support the underwriting, execution, and ongoing monitoring of private credit investments. The Associate will work closely with senior investment professionals and play a hands-on role across the full investment lifecycle—from initial screening and due diligence through closing and portfolio management.

This role is well-suited for a highly motivated investment professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting and is excited by the responsibility and ownership that comes with working at a small, growing firm.

Key Responsibilities – Investment Analysis & Execution

• Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate credit risk, investment returns, and downside scenarios.

• Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess key drivers of performance.

• Prepare financial analyses, investment materials, and internal memoranda to support investment decisions.

• Support all phases of the investment process, including screening, diligence, structuring, and execution of private credit and select equity investments.

• Conduct in-depth due diligence, including analysis of historical financials, KPIs, business models, industry dynamics, and competitive positioning.

• Participate in management presentations and diligence calls with company executives and third-party advisors.

• Assist with preparation of materials for investment committee review.

Portfolio Monitoring & Support

• Review quarterly reporting, return forecasts, and portfolio commentary to ensure alignment with underwriting assumptions.

• Support analysis related to amendments, waivers, add-on investments, or other portfolio company needs.

• Assist senior team members in identifying risks, opportunities, and strategic initiatives within the portfolio.

Team Collaboration & Development

• Work directly with senior investment professionals on each transaction, serving as a trusted partner for timely, accurate, and thoughtful analysis.

• Take ownership of work product quality and consistency in a remote working environment.

• Contribute to internal projects, ad hoc analyses, and firm initiatives as needed.

• Support the development and training of junior team members and interns over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private credit, private equity, commercial banking, or a similar analytical role.

• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and research skills.

• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Willingness to travel on a limited basis as needed.

Attributes We Value

• Intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to understand businesses in depth.

• Ownership mindset with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and follow-through.

• Comfort expressing independent views while remaining respectful of diverse perspectives.

• Strong work ethic balanced with empathy and kindness toward colleagues and partners.

• Motivation to grow alongside the firm and develop as a long-term investment professional.

• Appreciation for remote collaboration, clear communication, and proactive engagement.

Compensation
  • Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
