Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Relations
- Be the first point of contact for customer queries across email, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
- Assist customers with product information, sizing, styling recommendations, alterations and order-related queries.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely updates on orders, dispatches and alterations.
- Build lasting relationships with customers through attentive after-sales support and follow-ups.
- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day functioning of the Lodhi Store.
- Ensure the store is maintained to the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness and organisation.
- Monitor store hygiene, visual merchandising and overall customer experience.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Help coordinate stock movement between stores and workshop whenever required.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged, displayed and accounted for.
- Assist with inward and outward stock movement, transfers and documentation.
- Report inventory discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with the relevant teams.
- Deliver a personalised and thoughtful shopping experience to every customer.
- Develop an understanding of the brand's collections, textiles, craftsmanship and production processes.
- Assist customers in selecting garments while communicating the story behind each product.
- Support store events, appointments and client visits.
- Maintain customer databases and records of interactions.
- Coordinate with the production, logistics, ecommerce and marketing teams whenever required.
- Prepare basic store reports, inventory updates and operational documentation.
- Support the Store Manager with administrative and organisational tasks.
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Is organised, detail-oriented and proactive.
- Can multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Has a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Appreciates craftsmanship, textiles, design and thoughtful retail.
- Is comfortable using spreadsheets, email and basic inventory systems.
- Prior retail, luxury fashion or customer service experience is preferred.
- A customer-first mindset with genuine warmth and empathy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- A willingness to learn about textiles, craft traditions and the philosophy of the brand.
- Flexibility to support store operations during launches, events and busy retail periods.
