Weβve partnered with a remarkable 50+ year leading true mid-sized general contractor based in Houston, TX with a robust pipeline of mixed commercial ground-up and renovation projects within the Healthcare, Public, Aviation, and Medical construction space.
About the Role
Theyβre seeking an Assistant Project Manager with 3+ years of experience to lead the charge on upcoming ground-up and/or renovations within the healthcare, aviation, medical, and public project space. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a sharp eye for detail, and know how to drive a project from excavation to occupancy, this is your next big move.
Responsibilities
- Set project timelines and schedules
- Monitor project deliverables
- Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
- Work with a full project team including Estimators, Superintendents, and other team members to help support project team members with tasks you assign them
- Deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience successfully delivering ground-up mixed commercial projects in the education, public sector, tilt wall, and healthcare/medical construction space in Houston, TX
- Proven track record of successfully delivering those commercial project types of $10M+
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Deep understanding of construction sequencing, building codes, and safety regulations
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain a productive site culture
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred NOT required)
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
Required Skills
A strong track record of 3+ years of project management experience successfully delivering mixed commercial healthcare, medical, and aviation projects on time and within budget.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Deep understanding of construction sequencing, building codes, and safety regulations
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain a productive site culture
Strong business acumen in project planning and management
Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
Primavera P6 experience
3+ years of experience on either a mix
Compensation Package
Up to $110,000+ Base Salary + Vehicle Allowance + Bonus Structure + Benefits + Gas Card/Toll Tag + 15 Days PTO + 401K +
