Job Description
Program Role:
Owning the value proposition, market insights, GTM, and revenue of upGrad programs in International markets As a Program Manager – International Business at upGrad, you will own the end-to-end execution of global learning programs for working professionals, from identifying learner needs to launching and scaling offerings with cross-functional teams. You will drive program performance, learner experience, and business outcomes with strong execution rigor and a consumer-first mindset. The role requires navigating ambiguity, managing multiple stakeholders and projects, and demonstrating bias for action in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. The ideal candidate is a high-potential leader who is smart, diligent, and able to influence without authority to help the international organization achieve its short- and long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Consumer Insight & Program Design: Gather and translate insights on working professionals’ needs— such as course preferences, pricing expectations, and learning outcomes—into actionable inputs for program structure, curriculum, and positioning.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with marketing, content, admissions, and product teams to coordinate execution, resolve dependencies, and ensure smooth end-to-end delivery of programs.
- Program Performance Management: Support revenue and cost targets for the assigned vertical by tracking key financial and operational metrics, identifying gaps, and flagging risks or opportunities in a timely manner.
- Program Quality & Market Relevance: Regularly review program performance, study industry trends and competitor offerings, and recommend enhancements to improve learner value and market competitiveness.
- Execution, Tracking & Continuous Improvement: Define operational KPIs, track program progress against milestones, and drive corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery, quality outcomes, and strong learner experience.
- What are we looking for:
- Graduate or post-graduate with a strong academic background 3+ years’ experience in program management, product, strategy, or growth roles Strong consumer-first mindset with the ability to turn insights into action
- Proven experience driving cross-functional initiatives and stakeholder alignment
- Prior exposure to education or consulting is a plus High bias for action and ownership
