Job Description – Assistant Manager, Digital Sales

We are looking for an ambitious, data-driven professional to accelerate our growth across Quick Commerce and E-commerce platforms.


Role Summary


The Assistant Manager – Digital Sales will be responsible for managing the complete business across digital commerce platforms including Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, and Amazon. The role requires end-to-end ownership of sales performance, profitability, marketplace execution, advertising, and key account management.


This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys building businesses through data, execution, and strong commercial relationships.


Key Responsibilities


Key Account Management


* Manage end-to-end relationships with Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, Amazon, and other online marketplaces.

* Own the complete P&L for assigned digital channels.

* Drive revenue growth while maintaining healthy margins and profitability.

* Plan and execute promotional calendars, pricing, and commercial initiatives with platform partners.

* Conduct regular business reviews with marketplace teams.


Performance Marketing


* Plan, execute, and optimize advertising campaigns across:

  * Blinkit Ads

  * Swiggy Instamart Ads

  * Zepto Ads

  * Amazon Ads

* Manage advertising budgets and improve Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).

* Work closely with the marketing team to improve campaign creatives and performance.


Business Analytics


* Track daily, weekly, and monthly business performance.

* Monitor key metrics including sales, ROAS, conversion rate, contribution margin, inventory health, and category rankings.

* Generate actionable insights to improve growth and profitability.

* Prepare regular business performance reports and recommendations.


Marketplace Operations


* Ensure high product availability and healthy inventory across all platforms.

* Coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations teams to minimize stock-outs.

* Ensure product listings, images, descriptions, pricing, and promotions are accurate and optimized.

* Support new product launches and platform-specific activations.


Cross-functional Collaboration


* Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning teams to execute business plans.

* Coordinate timely execution of campaigns, launches, and promotional activities.


Desired Candidate Profile


* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.

* Minimum 5 years of experience in Digital Commerce, E-commerce, or Quick Commerce.

* Hands-on experience managing Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, and Amazon.

* Proven experience managing key accounts with end-to-end business ownership.

* Experience owning channel P&L and driving profitable growth.

* Hands-on experience running marketplace advertising campaigns.

* Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.

* Knowledge of marketplace dashboards, advertising consoles, and digital commerce analytics.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

* Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Compensation


CTC: ₹10–12 LPA (based on experience and fit)

  • Relevant experience in digital or media sales, preferably in a client-facing role, is beneficial.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in common office software and CRM tools, with a results-oriented and organized approach to managing multiple accounts and priorities.
