A fast-moving FMCG business in Jeddah is hiring an Assistant Manager – Commercial Planning to sit inside the Commercial team and own the planning rhythm end-to-end.

This is not a pure supply chain forecasting role. We need someone who can think commercially: connect demand signals to revenue, promotions, channel targets, customer service levels, and stock health then drive execution with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.

Important: Candidates must be currently based in Jeddah or willing to relocate.

What you’ll own

• Lead the S&OP cadence (monthly / quarterly / annual): align Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics and Finance around one plan
• Build and manage a 6-month rolling forecast across platforms/categories/SKUs with clear assumptions, accuracy tracking, and continuous improvement
• Translate the plan into monthly sales deployment: targets by channel/customer/region, plus tracking and corrective actions when reality moves
• Stock & service planning: partner with Supply Chain/Logistics on pipeline, DOS (days of stock), critical stock actions and prevention plans
• Commercial analytics & reporting: sales trends, forecast performance, inventory health, scenario planning, and business cases to support decisions
• Systems + process discipline: help run and improve planning tools (e.g., SAP / IBP / Power BI / Anaplan or similar), automation, and ways of working
• Be the connector: keep stakeholders aligned, decisions documented, and changes communicated fast

What we’re looking for (the “commercial demand planner” profile)

• 5+ years in FMCG planning (Demand Planning / Commercial Planning / S&OP)
• Strong commercial awareness: you understand the downstream impact on revenue, availability, promo execution, and inventory exposure
• Confident stakeholder management: you can challenge, align, and drive actions—not just report numbers
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; comfortable working at pace with ambiguity
• Experience with planning/BI tools (SAP/IBP/Power BI/Anaplan or similar)
• Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint (clear, decision-ready outputs)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar
• Fluent English (Arabic is a plus)

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (on-site; hybrid depends on internal policy)
