Role Description

Surya Global Flexifilms Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented professional to lead Domestic Sales Operations for its BOPP/BOPET films business. The role will be responsible for driving domestic sales growth, managing key accounts across India, ensuring smooth order execution, monitoring market trends, and building strong cross-functional alignment with production, QA, logistics, dispatch, and finance teams.


Key Responsibilities


1. Domestic Sales Growth

  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual domestic sales targets in both volume and value.
  • Expand the customer base across North, West, East, and South India.
  • Manage enquiries, quotations, commercial negotiations, and order closures.
  • Improve grade-wise product penetration and market share.

2. Key Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with converters, laminators, printing units, FMCG packaging partners, and traders.
  • Conduct regular customer visits for technical discussions, feedback, and new business development.
  • Understand customer applications and recommend suitable film grades accordingly.

3. Pricing & Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor pricing, delivery timelines, and regional demand trends.
  • Recommend daily and weekly pricing strategies based on market movement.
  • Track customer consumption patterns, forecast demand, and align bookings accordingly.

4. Order Execution & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with PPC, production, QA, logistics, and dispatch for timely order execution.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements related to grade, thickness, width, and packaging.
  • Follow up on urgent deliveries, special packing needs, and vehicle availability.
  • Keep customers informed on order status, lead times, and delays.

5. Payment Collection & Commercial Control

  • Track outstanding payments and ensure collections as per agreed credit terms.
  • Coordinate with finance on credit limit enhancements, debit/credit notes, and reconciliations.
  • Manage domestic commercial documentation including invoices, e-way bills, and grade approvals.

6. Complaint Management

  • Work closely with QA to analyze and resolve customer complaints related to film quality and performance.
  • Ensure timely closure of complaints and implement preventive actions.
  • Maintain proper complaint records and closure timelines.

7. MIS & Performance Reporting

  • Prepare MIS and performance reports covering sales vs target, customer-wise and product-wise performance, market trends, competitor updates, contribution, and realization.
  • Present regular domestic sales performance updates to management.

8. Team Leadership

  • Lead and guide regional sales executives / area managers.
  • Set targets, monitor performance, and coach the team on product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Strengthen field execution through structured customer visit plans.


Candidate Profile


  • 15–18 years of relevant experience in domestic sales, sales operations, key account management, or business development, preferably in the BOPP/BOPET films or packaging industry.
  • Graduate required; MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of BOPP/BOPET film grades, applications, and customer segments in India.
  • Strong understanding of domestic logistics, freight, packaging norms, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, customer relationship, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA, Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting dashboards.
