Senior AI Engineer (Agents & RAG Architecture)

Location: Hyderabad, India (Contractual for 6 months extendable to 1 year basis performance, Work from Office)

Operating Standard: High-velocity delivery with daily scrums and continuous progress updates.

Role Overview

Darwinbox is establishing a new operating standard for North American implementations. We are seeking a "builder-first" AI Engineer to develop an internal Intelligence Layer that automates the generation of mission-critical artifacts like Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), RAID logs, and meeting summaries. This role is focused on building an amplifier for consultants, allowing them to deliver "same-day" documentation that meets the high expectations of the US and Canadian enterprise markets.

Prefer candidates with HCM experience but is not a mandate.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Agent Development: Build and deploy autonomous AI Agents using existing tools (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel) to automate documentation overhead, reducing hours of manual work into minutes.
• In-House RAG Management: Architect and maintain a project-specific RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) store using Azure OpenAI and Microsoft 365.
• Multi-Tenant Isolation: Implement non-negotiable structural isolation at the Azure infrastructure level to ensure every client’s engagement memory is fully contained and invisible to other projects .
• Rapid Delivery Cycles: Execute a 60-day roadmap, moving from pilot learnings to a production-ready platform (v1.1) capable of supporting regional rollout.
• Agile Collaboration: Attend daily scrums in the Hyderabad office to provide status updates, address roadblocks, and ensure continuous progress toward same-day delivery targets.

Technical Profile & Experience

• Core Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure OpenAI, and Vector Databases for RAG architectures.
• Agentic Frameworks: Proven experience building AI Agents that can decompose complex implementation tasks into structured outputs (Word/Excel).
• Secure Architecture: Experience building multi-tenant systems where data security is enforced by infrastructure design, not just policy .
• Delivery Focus: Ability to build "human-in-the-loop" systems where AI prepares 90% of the output for consultant review and approval.
