About The Opportunity

Industry: Education Technology (EdTech). Sector: B2B SaaS learning platforms and digital upskilling solutions serving schools, higher-education institutions and enterprise L&D teams. We sell outcome-driven learning products and services that improve learner engagement and measurable skill outcomes.

Primary title: Business Development Executive (EdTech). Location: India — on-site role with regional travel.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate qualified leads across schools, colleges and corporate L&D accounts using targeted outreach and field engagement.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles: conduct discovery, deliver product demos, prepare commercial proposals and close subscription deals to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Maintain and update CRM records, forecast pipeline, and ensure follow-through on proposals, negotiations and contract execution.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers (principals, academic heads, HR/L&D leads) to drive renewals and upsell opportunities.
  • Coordinate with product, delivery and marketing teams to tailor offerings, design pilot programs and escalate customer feedback for product improvements.
  • Represent the company at on-site events, school/college visits and regional sales meetings; capture market insights and competitor intelligence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales—preferably in EdTech, K-12/higher education or enterprise L&D/SaaS.
  • Comfortable working on-site in India with regional travel; valid local work authorization required.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to hit quotas and manage end-to-end deals.
