Role Description The Articled Assistant will support audit, accounting, and taxation assignments under the supervision of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities may include preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting in statutory and internal audits, maintaining books of accounts, and compiling working papers and documentation. The role also involves supporting tax computations and filings, conducting basic research on accounting and tax issues, and coordinating with clients to collect information and clarify queries. The Articled Assistant will participate in scheduled trainings, maintain organized records, and adhere to professional and ethical standards. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nashik.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting, with the ability to work with ledgers, trial balances, and basic reconciliations.
  • Interest in audit and assurance work, including documentation, sampling, and understanding of internal controls.
  • Basic knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, and willingness to learn compliance procedures and tax filing processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel and Word) and comfort with accounting or ERP software.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and clients.
  • Good analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and willingness to learn under guidance from senior professionals.
  • Enrollment in or completion of relevant professional courses (such as CA or equivalent) and eligibility to register as an Articled Assistant, as per applicable regulations.
