Role Description The Art Teacher at WittyBrains is a full-time, remote role responsible for delivering structured, engaging art lessons to students across various age groups and skill levels. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conducting online classes, demonstrating techniques in drawing, painting, and other media, and guiding learners through creative projects. The role involves designing and refining art curricula, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining clear communication with students and guardians as needed. The Art Teacher will also adapt instructional materials for a virtual environment, incorporate digital tools into teaching, and collaborate with the broader education team to ensure consistent quality and learner satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, with the ability to design structured, progressive art learning experiences.
  • Proficiency in Teaching and Art Education, including experience conducting classes and supporting diverse learning styles.
  • Applied expertise in Painting and related art techniques, with the ability to demonstrate methods clearly in a virtual setting.
  • Experience with online or remote teaching platforms and digital classroom tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centered approach and commitment to inclusivity.
  • Relevant degree or formal training in Art, Art Education, Fine Arts, or a closely related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and maintain organized records of student work and progress.
  • Prior experience teaching in schools, academies, or online learning environments is preferred.
