Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Art Teacher role based at SRMPS in Lucknow. The Art Teacher will design and deliver engaging art lessons across relevant grades, integrating theory and practice in drawing, painting, and other visual arts. Responsibilities include planning lessons, aligning activities with the school’s curriculum, assessing student work, and providing constructive feedback to support artistic growth. The role involves organizing classroom materials, maintaining a safe and inclusive studio environment, and encouraging creativity, self-expression, and appreciation of art among students. The Art Teacher may also contribute to art exhibitions, school events, and interdisciplinary projects that showcase student work and support the school’s holistic education ethos.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Teaching, Art Education, and guiding students of diverse learning styles.
• Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design structured, age-appropriate art programs.
• Candidates should possess practical skills in Painting and related visual arts techniques to demonstrate and model artistic methods.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to create an inclusive, motivating classroom environment and manage groups of students effectively.
• Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and willingness to participate in school events and projects.
• Prior teaching experience in a school setting or art institution is an advantage.
