Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Head-Trade to join our Retail Banking team at IDFC FIRST Bank. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving trade and foreign exchange sales in the assigned area of Chandigarh, India. The candidate must have a strong understanding of trade finance products and services, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve trade and foreign exchange targets in the assigned area
• Identify potential customers and build relationships to generate new business
• Lead and manage a team of trade sales executives to ensure effective sales operations
• Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify customer needs and preferences
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and launch new trade finance products and services
• Monitor and analyze sales performance and provide timely reports to senior management
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies and procedures
• Represent the bank at trade events and conferences to promote our products and services
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in trade and foreign exchange sales, preferably in the banking industry
• Strong knowledge of trade finance products and services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Ability to lead and manage a team
• Knowledge of local market and customer preferences
