Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to define and implement features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
  • Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Android application development.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
  • Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
  • Knowledge of MVVM / MVP architecture patterns.
  • Experience with REST APIs and JSON integration.
  • Familiarity with Git version control systems.
  • Strong understanding of Android lifecycle and UI design principles.

Preferred / Nice To Have

  • Experience with Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation).
  • Knowledge of Coroutines, Flow, or RxJava.
  • Experience with Firebase services (Crashlytics, Analytics, Push Notifications).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Experience in the aviation industry or airline-related applications is a plus
