Brief Description:
The Manager – Dealdesk will serve as the GTM Operations triage lead for InMobi Exchange, bridging business and operations across time zones. This role partners closely with Sales, Client Development, Agency Development, PTD, DPM, and product teams to drive real-time campaign and deal operations, ensuring flawless execution, same-day triage, and data-driven insight delivery.
This is a demand-heavy role focused on PMP deal analysis, campaign health monitoring, and RFP triage, while also acting as a quality and process gatekeeper. The ideal candidate combines deep adtech expertise, operational excellence, and strong analytical rigor to drive execution efficiency, elevate campaign outcomes, and close feedback loops between GTM and Central Ops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, evaluate, and approve complex and non-standard deals across PMPs based campaigns, strategic partnerships, and enterprise agreements.
- Ensure pricing, margins, discounts, rebates, and incentives align with company guardrails.
- Drive consistency in deal frameworks across regions and business units.
- Partner closely with Sales to structure strategic deals that balance revenue growth and profitability.
- Work with RevOps to ensure accurate documentation and system alignment (SFDC, BI tools, pricing trackers).
- Interface with Product and Operations for feasibility validation and operational impact assessment.
- Conduct deal-level P&L analysis including margin, cost allocation, rebates, tech fees, and platform costs.
- Model revenue scenarios and long-term account value.
- Identify revenue leakage risks and ensure proper controls.
- Review historical performance data to inform deal decisions.
- Define and continuously improve Deal Desk SOPs and approval workflows.
- Reduce deal scale turnaround time (TAT) without compromising governance.
- Implement deal approval matrices and automated workflows in SFDC.
- Maintain clean documentation and audit trails for compliance.
- Establish standardized pricing templates and commercial playbooks.
- Track discount trends, margin erosion, exception frequency, and revenue impact.
- Provide regular reporting to leadership on deal quality and profitability metrics.
- Identify patterns in pricing pressure and propose a corrective strategy.
- Drive data-backed commercial decision-making.
- Foster a culture of disciplined, data-driven deal execution.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in programmatic operations, campaign management, or ad operations, preferably with global adtech exposure.
- Strong expertise in PMPs, Private Auctions, Brand IOs, and campaign setup workflows across DSPs (DV360, TTD, Xandr, Beeswax).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI/reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze campaign data, detect anomalies, and communicate insights effectively.
- Strong grasp of creative QA, pacing, inclusion logic, and deal health optimization.
- Excellent stakeholder management across Sales, CSMs, Product, and HQ Ops teams.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones and ensure operational continuity between North America and India HQ.
- Proven track record in mentoring, training, and enabling new hires in ad operations or analytics.
- High attention to detail, a structured problem-solving approach, and a passion for operational excellence.
