Our client makes technology and collaborative tools so creators can entertain, inform, educate, and enlighten the world. Our customers are the visionaries behind the most inspiring feature films, television programs, news broadcasts, televised sporting events, music recording and live concerts.

Our client is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to join the R&D Shared Services team. This candidate will play a key role in ensuring that Media Enterprise products are thoroughly tested before they are released to our customers. The responsibility of this position is to create and execute automation scripts to qualify media enterprise workflow solutions built on multiple products. The candidate will bring in new ideas on how we can improve our qualification process and do them at scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Industry Equivalent
  
  
  

– 5+ years of experience in creating & running test automation

– Experience with Selenium automation framework

– Programming skills in Java

– Knowledge of Windows, Mac and Linux Operating Systems

– Good troubleshooting and analytical skills with attention to details

– Experience with VMWare

– Experience with tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins

Optional Requirements

– Experience with multimedia and broadcast software is a plus

– Knowledge of video & audio technologies

– Experience with Microsoft Azure

– Experience with Agile software development

Job responsibilities

– Ability to execute an automation test tools

– Design, execute and verify test automation scripts

– Work closely with QA engineers executing tests to resolve issues quickly

– Maintain integration and regression automated tests for end-to-end workflows

– Generating and analyzing automation test reports

– Reporting and tracking issues with engineering to identify root cause

– Participate as a member of a Scrum team
