Job Overview & Responsibilities

The Data Analyst – AI partners with business and technology leaders across the organization to design and deploy AI and ML-powered solutions that support and automate business processes. The team collaborates closely with other Digital Technology teams to drive incremental revenue, enhance customer engagement, and improve operational efficiency using state-of-the-art analytical techniques.

Job Overview And Responsibilities

Deliver data analytics projects that inform customer strategy, revenue growth, operational efficiency, and cost optimization
Support ad-hoc analysis, decision support initiatives, and scenario modeling
Extract, clean, and organize data from multiple sources using SQL and Python
Design, automate, and maintain reports and dashboards; own reporting structures and key metrics, effectively communicating insights using visualization tools such as Power BI
Develop descriptive and predictive models using Python and SQL
Translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Aviation, or a related STEM field
2–5 years of full-time experience in analytics, data science, or a related analytical role
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
Experience working with relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, or similar platforms)
Hands-on experience with Jupyter Notebook or similar Python-based development environments
Solid understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques
Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English required
Legally authorized to work in India without employer sponsorship

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

Master’s degree in a relevant field
Experience building and deploying APIs leveraging AWS Bedrock and open-source models including model integration, prompt engineering, and production deployment best practices
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
