Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Analysis Engineer with extensive domain knowledge and experience in full vehicle assembly and vehicle variant complexity management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting CAD studies and ensuring the accurate meshing of vehicle components as per the safety model build standards. The role requires proficiency in various tools and software and the ability to work independently on reviewing and delivering assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Perform CAD studies, addressing missing elements, issues, and intersections.
- Mesh sheet metal, plastic trims, and powertrain components according to powertrain safety model build standards.
- Prepare input data queries, connections, intersections, and BOM.
- Apply BOM and relevant finite element mechanisms and functions in safety models.
- Prepare system model connections, including spot, seam, adhesives, joints, and bolts.
- Assign contact interfaces and manage databases, including nodes, sections, parts, and elements.
- Perform de-penetration and intersection work at the vehicle level.
- Adapt quickly to new processes and demonstrate a strong ability to learn.
- Experience in full vehicle assembly and vehicle variant complexity management.
- Proficiency in tools such as HyperMesh, Team Center, and relevant solvers.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to review and deliver assemblies independently.
- Knowledge of Team Center.
