AI/ML Engineer

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with 1–3 years of experience who has a strong foundation in Python programming, algorithms, and applied machine learning.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building intelligent systems from scratch, optimizing algorithms, and deploying scalable ML solutions using FastAPI-based microservices. You will play a key role in developing high-performance AI systems, preferably in the drug discovery and healthcare domain.

💡 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Machine Learning & Algorithms

• Design and implement machine learning models and algorithms for real-world problems
• Apply strong data structures and algorithms (DSA) concepts to optimize performance
• Work on model training, evaluation, tuning, and optimization
• Handle structured and unstructured datasets for predictive modeling

🔹 Python Development

• Write clean, efficient, and scalable Python code
• Build reusable modules, pipelines, and utilities for ML workflows
• Optimize code for performance and scalability

🔹 FastAPI & Backend Systems

• Develop and deploy ML models as APIs using FastAPI
• Design RESTful services and microservices architecture
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and low latency of ML services

🔹 Model Deployment & Infrastructure

• Containerize applications using Docker
• Deploy and manage ML services in production environments
• Work closely with backend systems for seamless integration

🔹 Advanced AI Exposure

• Work with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch / TensorFlow)
• Integrate ML models with LLM-based systems (preferred)

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in Machine Learning / AI Engineering
• Strong expertise in Python programming

Solid understanding of:

• Data Structures & Algorithms
• Machine Learning fundamentals

Hands-on experience with:

• ML model development and deployment
• FastAPI (or Flask/Django for APIs)
• Docker & Microservices architecture

Experience with libraries such as:

• Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with deep learning (PyTorch / TensorFlow)

Exposure to:

• LLMs / NLP / Generative AI
• Real-time ML systems or production deployments
• Experience in drug discovery / healthcare AI (plus, not mandatory)
• Understanding of data pipelines and large-scale systems

🎓 Education

• Bachelor’s degree in/Master of Technology (M.Tech) in : Computer Science / Computer Engineering/ Computer Science Engineering/ AI / Data Science or related fields
• Preferred: Candidates from IIT / IIIT / NIT or top-tier institutes
• Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and algorithms
