Job Summary

The AI Automation Engineer is a member of the IT Business Applications team and is responsible for designing, building, and implementing intelligent workflows and automations that enhance our application business processes. This role involves evaluating business processes for automation opportunities, building integrated agents and solutions, and driving adoption of AI throughout the organization. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in integrations, automation, and intelligent workflow design. This mid-level role requires someone who is not only an exceptional developer but also a strong communicator, partner, and project driver who can work across business and technology teams to implement secure and scalable solutions. This role focuses on workflow automation and systems integration. It does not involve training or fine-tuning machine learning models.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate business processes for automation opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across all departments to gather and validate requirements.
• Lead successful implementation of AI agents, automations, and integrations by working closely with your team as well as key stakeholders.
• Integrate with existing enterprise systems (such as D365FO, Korber WMS, etc.)
• Develop automation workflows leveraging JSON, XML, and other structured data formats.
• Conduct technical analysis with Business Applications team to design integrations for these agents.
• Conduct testing, documentation, and deployment of new apps and enhancements.
• Ensure security, data integrity, and best practices are followed.
• Prepare Solution Design documents for the AI agents and their supporting integrations.
• Analyze platform capabilities and propose creative, scalable technical solutions.
• Maintain AI and automation roadmap, including enhancements and updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Computer Science or similar areas, Masters preferred.
• 4+ years of experience on business application platforms with heavy integration focus. (such as ERP, CRM, Website, WMS)
• 3+ years of experience in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C#, etc)
• Experience building automations in the Microsoft ecosystem
• Logic Apps
• Power Automate
• Copilot Studio
• Dataverse
• Strong hands-on experience with APIs and integrations
• Understanding of API technologies and authentication mechanisms
• Understanding of JSON and XML
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent consulting and communication skills to ask the right questions and simplify complex concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Agile/Scrum experience especially using Jira
• Experience in D365 Finance and Operations (configuration or integrations)
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.
• Fluency in English
