Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Sales Head to lead and scale our sales operations. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure in handling high-volume inbound leads, managing sales teams, and driving enrolments in an EdTech or training institute environment, preferably from Catalyst competitors.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the sales team, ensuring consistent performance and target achievement
- Handle and optimize call processes, walk-ins, and digital leads
- Develop and implement sales strategies to improve conversion ratios
- Monitor daily call metrics, lead quality, follow-ups, and closures
- Train, mentor, and motivate sales counselors to enhance productivity
- Ensure CRM discipline – lead allocation, tracking, and reporting
- Analyze competitor offerings and pricing to refine sales pitches
- Coordinate with marketing, academic, and operations teams for seamless admissions
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports for management
- Proven experience as Inbound Sales Head / Sales Manager / Admissions Head
- Strong background in EdTech, training institutes, or education sales
- Experience working with Catalyst competitors is a strong advantage
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Hands-on experience handling calls and lead-driven sales
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- 5–10 years of experience in sales
- Minimum 2–4 years in a team handling / leadership role
