Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Admission Counselor role based in Gurugram. The Admission Counselor will guide prospective students and their families through the admission process, including responding to inquiries, explaining academic programs, and clarifying eligibility and documentation requirements. Responsibilities include conducting campus or office-based counseling sessions, participating in outreach activities, handling walk-in and telephonic inquiries, and maintaining accurate records of leads and conversions. The role involves collaborating with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth admission experience, supporting admission campaigns and events, and providing timely follow-up and support to prospective applicants. The counselor is expected to uphold the university’s values, represent the institution professionally, and contribute to enrollment targets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, address concerns, and provide supportive guidance throughout the admission process.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage leads, promote university programs, and contribute to achieving admission and enrollment goals.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of Education and academic environments to accurately present courses, curricula, and institutional policies.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Counseling, or a related field are preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple inquiries simultaneously, and use basic computer and CRM tools efficiently.
- Prior experience in admissions, counseling, or student-facing roles in educational institutions will be an advantage.
