Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Admission Counselor – EDTECH role based in Noida. The Admission Counselor will guide prospective learners through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment, providing accurate information about programs, eligibility, career outcomes, and learning formats. Responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound calls, responding to inquiries via email and messaging platforms, conducting counseling sessions, and recommending suitable courses based on learners’ backgrounds and goals. The role involves meeting enrollment targets, maintaining detailed records in CRM systems, coordinating with academic and operations teams, and supporting admission events, webinars, and information sessions. The counselor will also follow up with leads, ensure a positive applicant experience, and provide feedback to improve processes, communication, and conversion rates.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal communication and general communication skills to counsel and support prospective learners effectively.
  • Customer service skills to manage inquiries, address concerns, and deliver a positive, learner-centric admissions experience.
  • Sales skills to handle lead follow-ups, conduct persuasive course presentations, and achieve enrollment and revenue targets.
  • Understanding of education and edtech programs to explain curricula, outcomes, and learning pathways clearly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, business, or marketing is an advantage.
  • Experience in admissions, counseling, inside sales, or edtech preferred, especially in fast-paced, target-driven environments.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and online communication platforms.
  • Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage multiple priorities, and maintain professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
