Administrative - Team Lead
Location: Delhi (preferred) / Bengaluru
Experience: 6 – 10 years
Work Arrangement: Monday to Friday with a hybrid work model (3–4 days working from
the office).
Occasional travel may be required to support events, leadership visits or
operational coordination.

Role Overview
The Administrative Team Lead will support workplace operations and administration for
Rocket Learning across India, managing a team of Administrative Officers while actively
coordinating day-to-day administrative activities. The role ensures efficient facilities
management, smooth workplace operations and strong vendor partnerships across
offices.
Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, the role coordinates travel,
events, facilities and administrative processes to support a safe and well-organised work
environment. This is a hands-on role requiring both team leadership and direct execution
in a fast-paced, mission-driven organisation, with a focus on continuously improving
administrative practices.
Key Result Areas
Required Skills & Background
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Facilities Management or a
related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience
Fluency in English and Hindi or Kannada is required. Knowledge of an additional regional
language will be an added advantage.

Key Result Areas
- Efficient and well-managed workplace and facilities operations across offices
- Strong employee safety practices and compliance with organisational policies
- Effective vendor partnerships, procurement processes and contract management
- Well-managed administration budgets, expenses and operational systems
- Smooth coordination of organisational events and leadership engagements
- Strong administrative support and effective team management
- Travel, Events & Organisational Engagements: Coordinate and manage travel logistics, internal meetings, stakeholder engagements, national events and organisational gatherings.
- Workplace Operations & Facilities Management: Manage day-to-day office operations including infrastructure, maintenance, utilities and space planning while supporting improvements in workplace efficiency.
- Vendor Governance & Procurement: Manage vendor partnerships including selection, negotiation, contract management and service delivery, end to end procurement processes.
- Financial Management: Track administration budgets, expenses and financial processes in coordination with the Finance team, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
- Workplace Experience, People Partnership: Partner with the People & Culture team to support people processes, workplace experience initiatives and organisational events.
- Administrative Leadership & Team Management : Lead and mentor Administrative Officers across locations, providing guidance, coordinating responsibilities and contributing to team development while also handling operational tasks directly.
- Stakeholder & Leadership Support: Work closely with leadership and cross- functional teams to provide responsive administrative coordination and support.
- Compliance & Operational Effectiveness: Maintain administrative documentation, ensure compliance with organisational and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
Required Skills & Background
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Facilities Management or a
related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience
- 6 –10 years of experience in administration, facilities or corporate services roles
- Atleast 1–2 years of experience managing and supervising a team
- Strong leadership and people management capability
- Vendor negotiation and contract management expertise
- Strong planning, coordination and execution skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments
