We are looking for a highly organized Administrative Assistant who is comfortable working in a construction/electrical contractor environment and supporting both office staff and field operations.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the fast pace of project-based work, enjoys problem solving, and takes pride in keeping operations organized and professional.

Position Overview

The Administrative Assistant will support daily office operations and assist project managers, leadership, and field personnel with administrative and coordination tasks. The right candidate will help ensure documentation, communication, and scheduling are handled efficiently to support ongoing electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and route incoming calls from customers, vendors, and field personnel
  • Provide administrative support to management, estimators, and project managers
  • Maintain project files, documentation, and records
  • Assist with preparing proposals, reports, and project documents
  • Support scheduling and coordination between office staff and field teams
  • Assist with data entry, invoices, and basic accounting support
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors as needed
  • Track and organize project-related communications and documentation
  • Maintain a professional and organized office environment
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of administrative experience in construction, electrical, or contractor environment preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and professional phone etiquette
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Experience supporting project managers, service departments, or field teams is a plus
