Job Description

We are the largest jewellery displays and packaging manufacturer in India with five companies across Kerala and Tamilnadu.

Job Overview

​We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Manager to oversee the financial health of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for Cost Accounting, Budgeting, Statutory Compliance (GST/Taxation), and Inventory control. The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant (CA) or CMA with strong experience in plant finance and cost control or MBA in Finance with relevant experience will be considered.

​Key Responsibilities

​1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

​Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

​Lead the annual budgeting process and track variance against actuals (Budget vs. Actuals).

​Provide detailed MIS reports to management regarding plant performance, profitability, and operational efficiency.

​2. Cost Accounting & Inventory Management

​Oversee product costing (Standard vs. Actual), analyzing material costs, labor costs, and factory overheads.

​Conduct periodic physical stock audits (Raw Material, WIP, Finished Goods) and reconcile with book stock.

​Analyze manufacturing variances (Material usage, yield loss, efficiency) and suggest cost-reduction measures.

​3. Statutory Compliance & Taxation

​Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory payments.

​Handle E-Way bill compliance and issues related to the movement of goods.

​Manage internal and statutory audits; liaise with external auditors.

​4. Working Capital & Banking

​Manage day-to-day cash flow and working capital requirements (Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable).

​Liaise with banks for limits, term loans, and trade finance (LC/BG).

​Oversee vendor payments and age-wise analysis of creditors.

​5. Team Leadership

​Supervise and mentor the accounts team (Accountants, Executives).

Requirements

​Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or ICWA/CMA (Cost Management Accountant) preferred. MBA in Finance with relevant experience will be considered.

​Experience: 5+ years of experience in the Manufacturing sector is mandatory.

Technical Skills:

​Expert knowledge of Cost Accounting principles.

​Proficiency in any mainstream accounting software is must.

​Strong grasp of GST laws relevant to manufacturing (Input Tax Credit, Job Work, etc.).
