Accounts analyst

NextStep HR is hiring (on behalf of a top-tier hospitality company, a Detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Analyst for a leading organization in Mumbai. Highly skilled in Excel and data management to help drive financial efficiency and optimize costs for a top-tier hospitality company.

Location: Worli, Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis: Monitor and analyze company expenses to identify major spending patterns and suggest effective cost-control measures.
• Reporting: Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to assist management in data-driven decision-making.
• Data Management: Manage and maintain large, complex datasets with a high degree of accuracy.
• Variance & Trend Analysis: Perform variance analysis to highlight unusual spending and track operational costs through detailed expense breakdown reports.
• Accounting Operations: Reconcile accounts, invoices, and payment records while maintaining organized financial documentation for compliance.
• Strategic Support: Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to improve overall financial health.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in Accounts, Finance, or Data Analysis.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (data modeling, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with accounting software such as Tally and Zoho.
• Attributes: Strong analytical mindset, smart problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to identifying financial discrepancies.
