Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Delhi, OH. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, and reconciliation of accounts related to currency exchange and allied services. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flows, managing payable and receivable accounts, and ensuring accurate documentation of forex transactions in compliance with RBI and company policies. The role will also involve supporting tax filings, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, generating financial reports for management, and collaborating with operations teams to maintain accurate transaction records. The Accountant will help strengthen internal controls, support audits, and contribute to process improvements that enhance financial transparency and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Strong accounting foundation, including experience with bookkeeping, general ledger management, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance, ideally with exposure to banking, forex, or financial services environments.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and solid skills in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, prepare reports, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide insights to management.
  • Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and a structured approach to documentation and record-keeping.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with operations, sales, and management teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in forex, financial services, or travel and remittance businesses is preferred but not mandatory.
