Job Overview
The Accountant 1 will be responsible for performing accounting and administrative duties relating to the various capital/renovation projects managed by the university.
This is a hybrid position.
Essential Functions
Prepare and post accounting entries
Perform project analysis and reconciliation between the project management system and the university’s financial system
Monthly reporting
Purchase requisition processing
Invoice processing
Change order processing
Problem resolution with both internal customers and external vendors
Other duties as assignedRequired Education
Bachelor’s Degree must be in Accounting or related field.
Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.Additional Qualifications Considered
Fund accounting experience
SAP financial software experience
Procore project management software experience
Intermediate user of Microsoft products

Salary/Hourly Pay Rate Information: $48,000
