Position Overview
Kleen-Tech Services is seeking a high-performing Account Manager to lead complex custodial operations and deliver exceptional service performance across assigned facilities.
This position requires a strategic operations leader who can effectively manage dynamic labor environments where staffing levels expand and contract based on facility demand, customer expectations, and service requirements.
The successful candidate will combine financial discipline, operational leadership, workforce engagement, and industry knowledge to optimize labor efficiency, drive service quality, and ensure strong client satisfaction.
This role carries direct responsibility for operational performance, workforce leadership, and financial results, including management of the account’s profit and loss performance.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
· Lead and develop supervisors and frontline teams to deliver consistent, high-quality facility services.
· Establish a culture focused on accountability, respect, safety, and service excellence.
· Provide hands-on operational leadership across all assigned facilities.
Dynamic Workforce Management
· Successfully manage fluctuating staffing requirements in environments where labor demand changes based on operational needs.
· Adjust workforce levels to align with facility usage, contract scope, and service expectations.
· Drive productivity improvements while maintaining quality standards and employee engagement.
Financial Ownership
· Maintain full accountability for account P&L performance, including labor productivity, material usage, and operational expenses.
· Monitor financial performance metrics and implement strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
· Identify opportunities to optimize labor deployment and reduce unnecessary costs.
Service Quality & Client Satisfaction
· Conduct regular quality assurance inspections and service audits.
· Develop strong relationships with client stakeholders and maintain a high level of responsiveness.
· Address operational challenges quickly and implement sustainable solutions.
Operational Optimization & Innovation
· Leverage technology, modern cleaning equipment, and data-driven performance metrics to improve service outcomes.
· Stay current with facility service industry trends, innovations, and best practices.
· Identify and implement operational improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and consistency.
Safety & Compliance
· Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety standards, and contractual requirements.
· Promote a culture of safety and accountability throughout the workforce.
· Manage incident reporting, injury response, and corrective action processes.
Leadership Responsibilities
The Account Manager directly leads Supervisors and Custodial Staff and is responsible for:
· Workforce planning and staffing optimization
· Training and development of supervisors and frontline staff
· Performance management and coaching
· Employee engagement and retention
· Work scheduling and labor deployment
· Quality assurance and operational oversight
Strong leadership and the ability to motivate teams in demanding service environments are critical to success in this role.
Qualifications
Required Experience
· Minimum 10 years of supervisory or operational management experience within the janitorial or facility services industry
· Proven experience managing large custodial teams in complex service environments
· Demonstrated ability to manage changing labor demands and operational flexibility
· Strong experience managing operational P&L and financial performance
· Client-facing experience managing service relationships

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 annually
