Role Description The Academic Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ghaziabad. This role involves guiding students through academic and career pathways related to overseas education and immigration processes, including program selection, institution shortlisting, and application planning. The Academic Counselor conducts one-on-one counseling sessions, provides clear information on education systems and admission requirements, and supports students in making informed decisions aligned with their goals. Daily responsibilities include maintaining student records, coordinating with internal teams and partner institutions, organizing information sessions or workshops, and responding to student and parent inquiries in a timely and professional manner. The role also requires staying current with global education trends, policies, and opportunities to ensure accurate and up-to-date advice.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong student counseling and academic advising skills to support learners in making informed educational decisions.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication abilities, including clear verbal and written skills for interacting with students, families, and institutional partners.
  • Candidates should possess career counseling skills to help students explore career paths aligned with their academic choices and long-term objectives.
  • Candidates should possess a solid understanding of education systems and processes, particularly related to overseas study options.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in counseling are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in academic or career counseling, study abroad consulting, or education services is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple student cases and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and comfort with using CRM or student management systems.
  • Ability to work with diverse student backgrounds in a non-discriminatory, inclusive, and empathetic manner.
