1. Sr. Design Engineer

In addition, SVS produces tubular daylight systems (Sun Tubes/Bulbs) that safely introduce natural sunlight into industrial spaces using customized roof base sheets.

Role Description The Sr. Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmednagar. This role involves leading the design and development of ventilation and daylighting products, from concept through to detailed engineering and production support. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing CAD models and drawings, performing mechanical and electrical design calculations, and ensuring products meet performance, safety, and quality standards. The Sr. Design Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, supports customization for client projects, and provides technical input for installation and application engineering. The role also includes continuous improvement of existing designs, documentation of design specifications, and support for cost optimization and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering for industrial products and systems.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, drafting, and creating production-ready drawings.
• Working knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to hybrid powered and motor-driven ventilation systems.
• Experience in Product Design, including concept development, prototyping, testing, and design optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Experience in HVAC, ventilation, building services, motor design or industrial equipment design is highly beneficial.
• Ability to interpret standards, perform basic structural and performance calculations, and prepare technical documentation.
• Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with manufacturing, sales, and installation teams.
