Job Title: Zonal Sales Manager - Distribution Sales

Job Overview

The Zonal Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic channel partnerships across the assigned geography. The role involves managing key banking, NBFC, fintech, and distribution partners, leading a field sales team, expanding partner engagement, and ensuring achievement of business targets through effective execution and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities


Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Drive subscription and healthcare product sales across assigned territories.
  • Deliver zonal sales targets for revenue, enrollments, and partner productivity.
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners including Banks, NBFCs, FinTechs, Insurance Brokers, DSAs, and Corporate Partners.
  • Develop business plans to maximize market penetration and revenue.


Channel Partner Management

  • Build and strengthen relationships with senior stakeholders across partner organizations.
  • Drive partner activation, productivity, and business growth through structured engagement.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across existing partner portfolios.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and joint planning sessions with partners.


Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Area Sales Managers, Relationship Managers, and Channel Executives.
  • Monitor team performance through KPIs and productivity dashboards.
  • Drive capability building through regular training and field coaching.


Sales Operations

  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly sales MIS.
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Track partner-wise performance and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth implementation and partner support.


Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance teams to deliver seamless partner experience.
  • Resolve escalations and ensure high levels of partner satisfaction.
  • Support launch of new products and initiatives across the assigned zone.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduate; MBA preferred.
  • 8–12 years of experience in Channel Sales, Distribution Sales, Bancassurance, Health Insurance, FinTech, Healthcare, or Financial Services.
  • Proven experience managing Banks, NBFCs, FinTechs, or Insurance channel partnerships.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed sales teams.
  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and MIS reporting capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
