Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Zoho Catalyst Developer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure serverless applications and microservices using the Zoho Catalyst platform. You will work closely with our business analysts and project managers to translate business requirements into powerful technical solutions. The ideal candidate is a "pro-code" developer with hands-on experience in modern programming languages (like Node.js, Java, or Python) and a deep understanding of serverless architecture, FaaS, and API-first development. Key Responsibilities Serverless Development: Design, build, and maintain serverless applications, functions (FaaS), and microservices on the Zoho Catalyst platform. Application Architecture: Architect end-to-end solutions that leverage the full power of Catalyst, including the Data Store, File Store, and AI-powered Zia services. API & Integration: Develop and manage RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption. Integrate Catalyst applications with other Zoho apps (like CRM, Creator, Desk) and third-party services. Collaboration: Work in an agile environment with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver high-quality code. Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code. Implement security and data protection best practices. Troubleshooting & Optimization: Proactively identify, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks. Innovation: Stay current with the latest updates to the Zoho Catalyst platform and advocate for new features and best practices to improve our development lifecycle. Required Skills and Qualifications Must-Haves: Experience: 3+ years of professional development experience, with at least 1-2 years focused on the Zoho ecosystem. Core Catalyst Skills: Demonstrable experience building applications on Zoho Catalyst. Programming Language: Strong proficiency in at least one of Catalyst's supported languages: Node.js, Java, or Python . Serverless Concepts: Solid understanding of serverless architecture, FaaS (Functions as a Service), and PaaS (Platform as a Service). API Development: Proven experience in developing, deploying, and integrating with RESTful APIs. Database Knowledge: Experience with data modeling and working with both SQL and NoSQL databases (familiarity with Catalyst Data Store is a major plus). Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Nice-to-Haves: Zoho Deluge: Proficiency in Deluge Script for integrations with Zoho Creator, CRM, or other Zoho products. Zoho Certifications: Official Zoho Catalyst Developer or other relevant Zoho certifications. Frontend Experience: Familiarity with frontend technologies (like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks) for building client-side applications. DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git). Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their serverless offerings.
