Role Overview

We are looking for a creative, execution-focused, and data-driven YouTube Associate to support and scale Unacademy Stars YouTube channels. This role will work closely with top educators and creators to drive channel growth, content performance, and audience engagement at scale.

Key Responsibilities

YouTube Channel Management

● Manage day-to-day operations of Unacademy Stars YouTube channels.

● Upload, schedule, and optimize videos (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails).

● Ensure consistency in publishing calendars and content quality.

Content & Growth Strategy

● Work closely with Star educators to plan high-performing content formats.

● Identify trends, viral hooks, and new growth opportunities.

● Execute growth experiments to improve views, watch time, CTR, and subscribers.

Analytics & Performance Optimization

● Track key metrics such as views, retention, watch time, CTR, engagement, and subscriber growth.

● Analyze performance and share actionable insights with educators and internal teams.

● Optimize content based on data and audience behavior.

Cross-Functional Coordination

● Coordinate with academic, creative, design, marketing, and production teams.

● Support new educator onboarding and channel launches.

● Ensure alignment between content strategy, brand guidelines, and business goals.

Requirements

● 1–3 years of experience managing or supporting YouTube channels.

● Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms, SEO, thumbnails, and retention strategies.

● Basic knowledge of video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.).

● Strong communication, coordination, and execution skills.

● Data-driven mindset with ability to optimize content performance.

Good to Have

● Experience working with creators, influencers, or educator-led channels.

● Exposure to EdTech, media, or creator ecosystems.

● Hands-on experience scaling large YouTube channels.
