Job Description
The Programs Manager at ILIA will provide strategic leadership, oversight, and management for the organization’s key programs, including Youth Leadership Development, Youth Advocacy and Inclusion, Youth Career Empowerment, Youth Wellness and Stabilization and Juvenile Empowerment. The role ensures that ILIA’s programs align with the organization’s mission, maximize impact, and expand partnerships while securing sustainable funding. The Programs Manager will manage program staff, oversee budgets, assess program effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement in ILIA’s community-driven initiatives.
Responsibility
Program Leadership & Oversight
- Ensure all programs align with ILIA’s mission and long-term strategic goals.
- Oversee the implementation of internship, coaching, and prison empowerment initiatives, ensuring they meet goals.
- Supervise and support the Program Operations Support team members
- Monitor and report on program financials, expenditures, and funding needs.
- Ensure program success stories and impact reports are documented and shared with funders, stakeholders, and the broader community.
- Supervise engagement and fundraising activities implemented by program managers.
- Review MOUs developed by program managers.
Program Evaluation
- Analyze program outcomes, collect participant feedback, and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Provide regular performance reports to ILIA’s leadership, funders, and stakeholders.
- Assess relationships with partners, potential funders, corporate sponsors, and philanthropic organizations.
Role Qualifications
- College degree.
- Past experience in program management, project management or related role
- Relevant industry certification
- Minimum 10 years experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in youth development field
- Interest in program management, career coaching, internships, workforce development, nonprofit leadership, fundraising, partnership development, program development, product development or corporate engagement.
- Strong understanding of Islamic creed, principles, jurisprudence and transactions.
- Ability to meet all requirements listed above, with a track record.
- Excellent organizational, task management, communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate youth, corporate partners, and funders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, AI tools, communication tools.
