Damacas (damacas.in) is an upcoming multi-category e-commerce platform aiming to redefine local and fast delivery commerce. Backed by Delta Engineering Works, we are building a scalable digital marketplace with a strong focus on user experience, product diversity, and operational efficiency.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a WordPress & E-commerce Manager who will take complete ownership of our website operations. This is not just a design role — we need someone who understands customer behavior, website flow, and conversion optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the WordPress website (WooCommerce-based)

• Improve user journey & customer flow (homepage → product → checkout)

• Handle product uploads, categorisation, and structuring

• Optimize website design for better conversion rates

• Ensure website speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness

• Regularly update banners, landing pages, and offers

• Monitor and fix bugs, errors, or broken elements

• Coordinate with marketing team for campaigns & creatives

• Implement basic SEO best practices

• Suggest improvements based on analytics and user behavior

Requirements:

• Strong experience with WordPress & WooCommerce

• Understanding of e-commerce UX/UI

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS (and plugins ecosystem)

• Experience in managing product catalogs

• Ability to think from a customer’s perspective

• Proactive mindset — someone who suggests improvements, not just executes

Bonus Skills

• Experience with CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)

• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Meta Pixel

• Graphic sense for banners & layouts

• Experience working with growing e-commerce startups

Compensation:

Based on experience (Freelance / Monthly / Part-time options open)
